The city of St. Louis is going to be picking up trash two days a week citywide again.
Last fall, the city started a pilot program that collected trash once a week for about 40 percent of residents. The move saved the city about $300,000, but residents told News 4 the idea stunk.
The change will take place immediately. The city is also considering charging for trash pick up and starting a curbside recycling program. Those decisions made July 1.
