There was a substantial amount of opposition among North County residents as well as South County residents at early meetings this year regarding St. Louis County's trash pick-up proposal.
As reported on the 5:00 p.m. news on KMOX radio this past Wednesday, September 12, there is a great deal of opposition to the St. Louis County proposal among South County residents. As a result, there is a large turnout expected for the final meeting to be held on Monday, September 24 in South County. One South County resident who spoke in opposition to the County proposal at the first meeting projected an attendance in excess of 500 people at the final meeting.
