County Trash Program on "You Paid For It" - March 31

We received notification from Citizens in Opposition to Monopoly Trash Districts (C.O.M.T.D.) that Elliott Davis will be talking about trash on his “You Paid for It” segment tonight at 9:00 P.M. on KTVI Fox News. This was confirmed by Elliott Davis in a telephone conversation earlier today.

For those who may be unaware, the controversy surrounding St. Louis County’s Trash Districting Program is far from over, even though there has been little news on the subject in recent months. However, there are two court cases still pending against St. Louis County. The first case involves the Haulers vs. St. Louis County. This case was rejected on appeal by St. Louis County to the Missouri Supreme Court and was sent back to the Circuit Court for trial. To date, no trial date has been set.

The second case involves the Citizens (Right to Vote) vs. St. Louis County. This case is in the Circuit Court and is set to be heard at the second Case Management Conference, which is scheduled for April 9, 2009.

For more information about the controversial trash issue or for flyers about this issue, contact Cathy Armbruster at (314) 544-0298.
