Trash Law Suits Status

There are Four Lawsuits pending in the St. Louis County Courts.

1.) Haulers Vs. St. Louis County:
Trial Was Held. For Damage Amount on ( May 31, 2011 ) in St. Louis County Circuit Court Before Judge Barbara W. Wallace, (Division 13)

ON MAY 16, 2011 THIS COURT WILL DEFER ITS RULING ON THE CASE UNTIL AUGUST 15, 2011 IN ORDER TO SEE IF THE MISSOURI SUPREME COURT RULES ON ANY ISSUES PRESENTED IN THIS CASE.

RULING DATE: AUGUST 15, 2011

January 25, 2011 -  Judge Barbara Wallace ruled that the St-Louis County owes the trash haulers.

2.) Citizens (Right to Vote) Vs. St. Louis County:
Missouri Appeal Court now waiting for a Hearing Date or a Ruling.

3.) Tax Violation of Hancock Amendment Vs. St. Louis County
Missouri Appeal Court Opinion - Transferred to Missouri Supreme Court
Now Waiting for Hearing Date to be Set.

4.) Citizens ( ILLEGAL TRASH SERVICE ) Vs. St. Louis County:
Class Action Suit
Missouri Supreme Court
For the return of monies paid to the illegal monopoly Trash Haulers

May 11, 2011 - Oral Arguments were Heard.
Now Waiting for Missouri Supreme Court ( Seven Judges ) For RULING.

    I don't think we will ever really find out, but, one has to wonder what all of these court actions have actually cost us Tax Payers.

    Government acts without fore thought,
    Tax Payers clean up the mess.

    To the first comment I would like to say that the taxpayers create the mess by sitting in front of the boob tube on election day and allowing these idiots and outright thieves to get into office in the first place. Witness the fact that Dooley got re-elected. Count on this kind of thing continuing to happen as long as we continue to be an uninformed and lazy electorate.
