Trash Program: Common Sense VS. Nonsense

“It’s unwise to pay too much, but it’s worse to pay too little. When you pay too much, you lose a little money – that is all. When you pay to little, you sometimes lose everything, because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the thing it was bought to do. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot – it can’t be done. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.”

… John Ruskin (1819-1900)

    The Bottom Line:

You get what you pay for.

But, remember one thing, your elected councilperson made that decision for you.

The trash program does not make common sense. The bottom line is it's a law that all county residents do not have to comply with. What kind of law is that?

Voters in St. Louis County will get the opportunity to VOTE on a smoking ban.
They did not get the opportunity to VOTE on the trash ordinance.
It seems the politico's do what they want, when they want, for whom they want.
