New South County Blog Sites Don't Tell the Full Story

Two new blog sites in South County popped up recently - South County News and South County Truth. While both make for interesting reading, the sponsors hide behind anonymity.

South County News is published by Mike Heins of South County. While at least Mike's name is on the site, there is really no way to contact him. You can't even leave a comment on the articles posted.

The same is true of South County Truth Spot. It's published by "TruthDector" but with no way to make contact with the individual or comment on articles.

It would be nice if anonymous folk would have the courage to sign their real names. But many authors choose a fictious name. Sometimes the choice has nothing to do with courage."

I can sort of see it if you are experiencing the thrill of creating and maintaining a fantasy persona. But for those of you who comment here, participating in occasionally serious discussion of civic issues, what is the reason behind your anonymity?

  2. Bill,
Folks can post on my blog as long as they don't get to nasty. I sent you my e-mail and if for some reason you can't get hold of me though either resource, I'm in the phone book.

Also, we have confirmed that James Stonebraker, musician, vacuum salesman and former President of the Lemay Republicans is one ( and probably the main) contributor to the South County Truth Spot and also Burke Wasson, reporter Call Newspaper, disgraced college newsaper editor of the SIUE Egyption is another. They try to hide because that way they can lie.
