Quotes worth repeating . . .

County Executive Dooley stated that St. Louis County’s intent is customer driven, addressing “How can we effectively service the people in St. Louis County and to move our community forward”.

County Executive Dooley indicated that he was not going to force anyone to do anything they don’t want to do in their Districts, stating that “the key words were that the consumer is the driving force behind this whole redistricting of trash code”.

. . . Charlie Dooley, County Executive, Public Forum portion from St. Louis County Council Meeting April 3, 2007 Re: Waste Management Code

I believe it is time for a taxpayer's revolt in St. Louis County. The rogue administration of Dictator Dooley has seen fit to tax Real Estate values far above those the collapsed market would support and foist on us without vote what amounts to a tax imposed by crony (and incompetent) waste management companies (I fired the one he's selected for my area two years ago--the one I have now picks up on time). I propose that we vote against any and all tax and bond proposals until Dooley and his pals are voted out.
