St. Louis County is asking the state high court to intervene in a lawsuit filed by three waste haulers who claim the county owes them $23.2 million in damages.

County Counselor Patricia Redington last week petitioned the Missouri Supreme Court for a writ of prohibition against the county circuit court of Judge Barbara Wallace and the three haulers suing over the county's trash-district program.

The move comes ahead of a May 31 trial to determine damages owed the haulers, who filed suit nearly three years ago over the county's failure to provide two years' written notification it was establishing eight trash districts in unincorporated areas, as required by state law.

Redington told the Call the county believes the circuit court has "exceeded its jurisdiction."

"We're saying this case should be dismissed and we would like the (state) Supreme Court to take that up now rather than make us wait and go through an appeal," she said.

The case Consigliore Reddington is talking about has already been through the Eastern Division Appellate Court which corrected and remanded the case back to the circuit court. Can we all take up a collection so we can by the Consigliore a clue?

Reddington’s appeals become less appealing every time she files one. Why can’t they just accept the inevitable and give up before the county loses any more money. Will she keep up the stall tactics all the way to the U. S. Supreme Court? And when they say the County is wrong does it go to the Hague? What then, to GOD?............they probably wouldn’t accept his verdict either.

They certainly wouldn’t even believe God. Reddington works for Dooley and Dooley worships at the temple of San Temporiti.

The County, Dooley, Redington, Garry Earls, Temporiti, all of them, knows this issue is in trouble, and will cost the county (tax payers) some money, and a lot of embarassment for Dooley. They are trying to stretch out as long as possible to try and minimize the negative effect.
They are trying for plausible deniability on the issue, and then someone in county will get hung out to dry and put out to pasture over this, and all will be done.
    Taxpayers pay the cost.

There’s a rumor going around that Reddington asked Dooley to sign a requisition for a ladder for her so it will be easier for her to keep taking her trash district cases to higher courts.

Is it possible that criminal investigations are under way and certain individuals have gotten wind of it? Maybe all of these delay tactics are an attempt to postpone indictments until certain people can figure out a way to have been out of town when it all happened.
