Here they go again…County Executive Charlie Dooley and his veto-proof County Council…ignoring the citizens of St. Louis County.
The voters on November 4, 2008 voted NO to the $120 million county bond issue. But does County Executive Dooley care what the voters want? No!
Dooley and his County Council have started the process to put the $120 Million bond issue on the April 7th election ballot, just 6 months after the voters said No. “Bill would resubmit bond proposal,” (Jan. 14).
Doesn’t Dooley know the meaning of No? We need to tell him no the only way he’ll understand when he runs for re-election in 2010. In the meantime we’ll need to continue to vote down his bond issues.
