Authorities say the cost of the April raid on a polygamist compound in West Texas in which authorities seized about 460 children is expected to exceed $14 million. This tops the estimated cost of $10+ million for St. Louis County's trash program.
The $14 million was for a 2-month period, while the estimated cost of the waste program of $10+ million is over a 18 month period. With law suits now being filed, the waste program cost will continue to rise.
Thank goodness the County did not take any of our Children.
