The Missouri Department of Natural Resources postponed a public hearing on a proposed trash-transfer station from Fred Weber Inc. at 5219 Baumgartner Road.
The public hearing is set for 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 10, at Oakville Senior High School, 5557 Milburn Road.
St. Louis County Counselor settled a lawsuit in October with attorneys for Fred Weber to allow the company to construct the trash-transfer station. The County Council had previously denied the station by a unanimous vote.
Citizens can review a copy of the proposed permit application at the Cliff Cave Branch Public Library, 5430 Telegraph Road, St. Louis.
A copy is also available upon request at the department's Solid Waste Management Program at 1730 E. Elm St. in Jefferson City. To request a file review, citizens may call (573) 751-3043 or fax a request to Rhonda Loveall, custodian of records, at (573) 522-3344.
