County Calls Press Conference to Provide Trash Program Answers

St. Louis County has called a press conference for this Wednesday, October 31 at 10:00 a.m. at the World Trade Center, 121 S. Meramec in Clayton to provide answers to the County's trash program. The County's program would assign a trash hauler to a district in unincorporated areas. County officials have been unable to provide specific details to the program which is scheduled to start as early as January 1, 2008. As a result, many county residents are very much opposed to being forced to change trash haulers.

Live in Glasgow Village. There are a lot of us that can't pay our utilities much less our trash. WE are being put out of our home due to forclosure. What makes the county say that they can site us and prosecute us. I am a single home-owner,sharing pymt with a elderly person, who between the both of us can't even get a trash can full for 1 week.
